  • 9.30am to 4.30pm each day
  • Indoor Irish Class in morning​
  • Outdoor activities from midday
  • For ages 11 to 17
  • Sailing, Kayaking, Pier Jumping, Swimming and much more
  • Qualified Water sports Instructors
  • Fun activities through Irish

  • Classroom based learning each day with Department of Education qualified teachers

  • Speak Irish while taking part in water themed activities.

  • All instructors and trainers are fluent Irish speakers.

  • On Water activities are supervised by "Irish Sailing" qualified instructors

Programme Outline

There will be two Irish classes each morning (with printed booklets that can offer support right the way through to Leaving Cert).

Phrases, nouns and verbs taught during class can be used throughout the day on all shore and water-based activities. Our team of Instructors will be on hand to offer support to ensure that only Irish is spoken…. because they just love to labairt as Gaeilge! 

 

A typical day will look like:

  9:30 am:                        Rang Gaeilge

​

 10:15 am:                           Sos

​

 10:30 am:                       Rang Gaeilge

​

 11:15 am:                        Get ready for activities!

​

 11:30 am:                        Spraoi ar an Uisce  

​

 1pm:                                    Lón

​

 1:45pm:                           Spraoi ar an Trá

​

 3pm:                                    Sos

​

 3:15 – 4:30 pm:             Spraoi ar an Uisce  

 

​

Water based Activities include Dinghy, Keelboat or Catamaran Sailing/ Rib Rides / Swimming / Rafting / Kayaking

 

Shore based Activities include Shore Walks and Foraging / Games / Quizzes / Music & Dance / Tug of War and a weekly trip to the Marine Institute.
